These materials were developed in February 2006 for a classroom training ("Be Prepared For Pandemic Flu: Key Tools For Local Public Health") that was implemented by the Local Public Health Institute. At the request of training participants, the materials are posted on this website for participants and others to access and use. Please note that information on this topic is evolving, and certain information may become outdated. Please note also that the pandemic case scenario is an interactive exercise. Before using the pandemic case scenario in your community, we recommend that you attend a "Be Prepared for Pandemic Flu" classroom training or consult with your MDPH Regional Health Educator.

Because of the large size of these presentations, it may take a few minutes for them to load on your computer. When printing the presentation and case scenario, print the speaker notes for detailed information to use when presenting these materials.
